ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last Updated: August 13, 2026
Opening
Fair Access Foundation believes access should include access to information.
We are committed to making fairaccessfoundation.org usable by people with disabilities and to improving the accessibility of our digital content as the organization and website continue to develop.
Our Accessibility Goal
FAF is working toward alignment with recognized web-accessibility practices, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a development and evaluation goal for the public website.
This is an accessibility goal, not a certification that every page, feature, browser, assistive technology, or third-party resource currently achieves full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility.
Accessibility Measures
The FAF website currently incorporates measures intended to improve accessibility, including:
- keyboard-accessible navigation
- a Skip to Main Content link
- visible keyboard-focus indicators
- programmatically associated form labels
- required-field accessibility attributes
- semantic links and buttons
- responsive desktop and mobile layouts
- structured heading hierarchy
- alternative text for meaningful images
- accessible mobile-navigation state information
- reduced-motion support for users who request it
- readable color contrast
- accessible form instructions
- avoidance of information communicated solely through color
Ongoing Review
FAF intends to continue evaluating the website as content, technology, and user needs evolve.
- keyboard and focus behavior
- headings and page structure
- images and alternative text
- forms, instructions, and error messages
- color contrast and readable presentation
- responsive and reduced-motion behavior
Accessibility testing and improvement will continue as the website evolves.
Known Limitations
FAF continues to review its website for accessibility barriers.
Website behavior may vary across browsers, devices, assistive technologies, user settings, and third-party resources.
Users are encouraged to contact FAF if something is difficult to access so that the issue can be reviewed.
Accessibility Feedback
If you experience difficulty using this website, accessing information, completing a form, or understanding content, please contact FAF.
It is helpful to provide:
- the page or content involved
- a description of the difficulty
- the format or assistance that would be useful
- your preferred contact method
A person does not need to disclose a diagnosis or disability in order to report an accessibility concern.
Alternative Formats
FAF will make reasonable efforts to provide public website information in an appropriate alternative format when an accessibility barrier prevents effective access.
Requests will be considered based on the information involved and the reasonable options available.
Third-Party Content
Some website content may link to or depend on technology operated by third parties.
FAF cannot control every aspect of independent third-party accessibility. Concerns involving third-party functionality presented through the FAF website may still be reported to FAF so available options can be reviewed.
